i'm 23 years old. i'm a colorado girl to the max. i am also one of the most extroverted introverts you will ever find.
i am a writer and communicator to the core- and all my writing goes on here or in my beautiful leather bound journal. i strive to be real in my writing (and real life) and wear no masks. what you see is what you get. no secrets. no shame. no "holier than thou". i'm just as broken as the next, if not more. and i want to share that brokenness with you. i believe that Jesus is the hope of every human heart. He is all we are seeking for and desire. there is no safisfaction or fulfillment in life without His heartbeat. His grace and love are fierce and untameable. and you are the object of His wild affection. i want to live a life full of grace, and held by grace. cause without it, i am nothing. with it, i am all He says i am. He has saved me, changed me, set me free, and given me a purpose and life abundant.
i am moved by human trafficking and slavery - and will spend my life increading awareness and doing everything i can to abolish slavery. somewhere on the streets of Atlanta is a girl who holds my heart- and she is the reason i fight. for her and every girl like her. the rescued are called to rescue.
i am a full time barista, part-time nanny. a coffee lover. obsessed with the beauty around me. i love being creative. i take pictures everywhere i go. i want to capture moments and create atmosphere for love to flourish. i cook for fun. i listen to music whenever i can- but i am learning to love silence. i listen more than i speak. words have value, and i don't want to throw them away carelessly. i firmly believe everything needs to be dipped in some sort of sauce. i have run 2 half marathons- not by choice, but i still get the bragging rights. i am a dog person. i have a tattoo, and plan on getting more. i have repelled from a 150 foot cliff. i stop and smell the flowers everywhere i go.
to this girl, nothing is better in life than a good adventure.
i am a graduate of Highlands College- the ministry and leadership school in Birmingham, AL. and my heart is for God's daughters. we all have a story, a heart, and a voice- and they all matter. i will fight for the daughters to realize their value, potential, and power. you are a force to be reckoned with.
i am a daughter of the local church, and believe in her. the local church is the hope of the world. we are the hands and feet of Jesus on earth.
i'm on this journey of life with my best friend. a man named Byron. he's the sweetest gift God has ever given me in a person. i fall more in love with the boy everyday. life with him by my side is a grand adventure and i cannot wait to see what the future holds for us, and i cannot wait to share his last name.
